Reopening with Precautionary Measures
We hope this message finds you and your family in good health. Indeed, our community has been through a lot over the last few months and many things have changed. However, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety as well as my staff’s.
As of June 1st, 2020, we will be taking in-office appointments but with a limited schedule to be extra-cautious. We will start from patients who need procedures in the office and urgent, trauma patients. We will be limiting our daily appointments so we can accommodate one patient at a time and will have more time for cleaning between.
We will continue to offer Telehealth for those who do not feel comfortable to come in or do not need to be seen in person. We will start slowly to ensure everyone’s safety in the month of June.
Before your appointment, we will be sending more detailed protocols: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. We are requesting all patients to wear a face mask or any face covering to come into our office building. We will measure your temperature with a non-contact thermometer, ask you to clean your hands with alcohol sanitizer, and clean your shoes before entering our office. You will be immediately escorted into a well-ventilated exam room. Until further notice, we kindly ask you to avoid bringing any companion except a minor patient. I know it is not easy to get used to this new ‘normal’ but I expect my kindest patients I know will be able to cooperate to protect each other. And let’s help reduce the risk of our hospital healthcare workers and their families.

予防措置を講じたリオープニングのお知らせ
ご家族の方も含め、皆様お元気にお過ごしでしょうか。過去数か月の間に、世間は大変な事になり、多くのことが変化したかと思います。それでも、変わらないことが一つあります：患者様、及び当院スタッフに対する安全への取り組みです。
２０２０年６月１日より、慎重に限られた開院時間を構え、クリニック内での診察ご予約の受け付けを開始いたします。クリニック内での処置を必要とする患者様、および緊急・外傷の患者様を優先に診察を開始いたします。一度に一名ずつご対応し、診察間に入念な清掃を行うためにも、予約日時を限らせていただきます。
外出がまだ不安な患者様や、外来診察でなくても治療が可能な患者様は、引き続きリモート診察を提供しております。皆様の安全を確保するため、６月中は徐々に診察を開始していきますので、どうぞご理解いただけますと幸いです。
ご予約の前に、より詳細な「ご来院手順」をお送りいたします。１）当院スタッフが事前にご連絡し、スクリーニングの質問をさせていただきます。２）全ての患者様にマスク、または顔をカバーするもの着用していただき、オフィスビルに入館するようお願いいたします。３）オフィスに入る前に、非接触タイプの温度計で体温を測定させていただき、アルコール消毒剤で手をきれいにし、靴もきれいにしていただきます。４）ご到着後すぐに、換気の良い診察室へご案内いたします。５）追って通知があるまでは、未成年の患者様以外は、同伴者はお避けください。
この新しい「正常」に慣れるのは簡単ではないとは思いますが、私の知っている患者様は皆親切な方ばかりですので、皆で協力し合い、お互いの健康を守っていただけると確信しております。そして、一緒に病院の医療従事者とその家族のリスクを削減できるように頑張りましょう。
長らくご迷惑をおかけしましたが、段階的に皆様をお迎えできるように努めていきますので、引き続きよろしくお願いいたします。
